Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Coleshill, Birmingham

Night Shift | Monday to Friday | 22:00 – 06:00

£50,000 per annum (including shift rate etc)

We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team at a busy distribution and automation site in Coleshill.

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for the maintenance, optimisation and reliability of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems across the depot. You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond quickly to breakdowns, and play a key part in keeping production operations running efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Carry out PPM on automated conveyor and volume picking systems

* React quickly to breakdowns during operational hours

* Fault find and repair across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems

* Support and deliver technical projects across the operation

* Coordinate and supervise external contractors on-site

* Maintain facility standards and ensure safe working practices across the depot

What We’re Looking For

✅ Level 3 Electrical and Mechanical qualification (or recognised equivalent)

✅ Experience in a maintenance engineering environment

✅ Previous work with automated conveyor or material handling systems ideal

✅ Confident in fault finding across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment

Desirable but not essential:

* IOSH / NEBOSH qualification

* Experience leading or mentoring a small technical team
