Multi-Skilled / Electromechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Chester Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (Rotating shifts) Shift Pattern:
Monday – Friday: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 (rotating weekly) Pay: £24.71 per hour (including 25% shift uplift on all hours worked)Industry: Heavy Industrial / Lead (Pb) Manufacturing Environment
The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electromechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced heavy industrial manufacturing site. This is a hands-on, varied role where you will play a key part in ensuring plant reliability, maximising uptime, and supporting continuous improvement across a complex production environment.
You’ll work across a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems, helping to keep critical production equipment running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing Engineering & Maintenance 
Diagnose, fault-find, and repair a wide range of industrial equipment including furnaces, conveyors, casting machines, crushers, mixers, pumps, and extraction systems Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce breakdowns and improve asset life Complete electrical maintenance on motors, drives, control panels, PLC systems, sensors, and instrumentation Undertake mechanical repairs including gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves...
