Role:  Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £48,000 - £52,400 (DOE) + Overtime

Location: Milton Keynes

Shift pattern: Panama days and nights (every other long weekend off)

Holidays: 20 shift holidays

The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK’s leading multi-site supplier supplying into the biggest names in the food retail sector. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on both semi and fully automated kit at their 1 of 6 purpose-built sites in Milton Keynes. They are looking for a maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector to become a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers on a range of industrial washer, conveyors, dryers and much more.

My Client will be undergoing a huge CAPEX project as of January 2026 which will involve upgrades of all machinery to be fully automated - this will be the perfect time for a maintenance engineer looking to get stuck in with machinery installation and commissioning.

The Role

As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and some work on Siemens and Allen Bradley Maintain levels of critical spares Control calibration records Requirements

As the maintenance engineer, our client requires:

NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in engineering Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment The Benefits:
