OverviewMulti Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: St Ives, CambridgeshireSalary: £54,959 per annum + benefits (£25.16 per hour)Shifts: 3s and 2s Panama shift pattern, Day/Night rotating. Working 42 hours per week (days and nights), Monday to Sunday.Role summaryJoin a market-leading company at Marshalls plc as a Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through safe and logical fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on a range of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.ResponsibilitiesEnsure continuous production by fault finding and maintaining equipment with a safe, logical approach.Service, repair, and install a variety of plant and machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.Minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.Interact with maintenance and production teams to communicate plant condition and recommendations.Qualifications and skillsStrong electrical knowledge with mechanical experience; time-served/apprentice trained in a similar role with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent).Understanding of the IEE 18th edition.Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and regulatory requirements.Hands-on practical approach with significant experience in maintenance of a variety of plant; electrical fault finding and routine maintenance.Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and provide accurate plant condition information and recommendations.Excellent communication skills with operatives and team leaders from maintenance and production.BenefitsTraining and development opportunitiesAnnual pay reviewsFree company uniform and onsite parkingHealth care cash plan for dental, optical, prescription costs, etc.Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leaveCycle to work schemeEmployee discount on Marshalls productsLife assuranceWork with the UK's leading manufacturer of landscaping productsEqual OpportunitiesWhoever you are and whatever your background, Marshalls is committed to equal opportunities for everyone.
