Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Multiskilled Shift Engineer to join clients Engineering team in Tamworth. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving our manufacturing equipment, including injection moulding machines, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant, equipment, and services.
*
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical faults.
*
Support breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise disruption.
*
Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
*
Work with Production and other teams to deliver engineering solutions and improvement projects.
*
Maintain accurate records, order spares, and manage contractor support when required.
*
Uphold high standards of 5S, safety, and compliance at all times.
What We’re Looking For
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
*
Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Multiskilled Engineering.
*
Experience in plant maintenance and fault-finding across multiple systems.
*
Ability to read technical drawings and work under pressure.
*
Strong focus on Health & Safety.
*
5+ years’ experience in plastics injection moulding ().
Shift
PANAMA SHIFT - Days and Nights 12 Hours - 2 days 2 nights, 5 off, then 2 days 3 nights 4 off rotating ETC
Total Cycle Length: 28 days (14 days On, 14 days Off)
