position! What youll be doing Maintain, repair, and optimise mechanical and electrical food production equipment Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Support continuous improvement projects and site upgrades Keep accurate maintenance records Work safely and comply with Health, Safety, and Food Safety standards Collaborate with the team and contractors when needed Participate in a 1-in-3 call-out rota for out-of-hours support Hours MondayFriday 6:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-22:00pm (rotating weekly) 1 in 3 call out rota to cover weekends and nights Pay £45,000 - £47,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) Overtime available Skills/Experience Required Minimum 12 months experience in a manufacturing maintenance role (food sector desirable but not essential) Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, college, or equivalent) Confident working with both mechanical and electrical systems Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently when required Sound understanding of Health & Safety regulations Good communication and reporting skills Valid UK driving licence Benefits Competitive salary Overtime available Company Pension Free on-site parking Ongoing training and development provided Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
