Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £59,000 + overtime

Location: Enfield

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days and nights (12 hours)

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who must be competent both electrically and mechanically at our large, growing site in Enfield. The business manufactures well-known products that are a staple of British culture. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be enrolled on an individually tailored training program which takes engineers through training check points. Training is a core principle within the business, which promotes a coaching and development culture to progress technical knowledge. Continuous improvement is at the forefront of this company and the successful candidate will be able to get involved in projects on innovative machinery. The client is a large manufacturer with sites across the UK, Europe and internationally. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be required to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Responsibilities

The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance on site equipment and involvement in continuous improvement projects and training initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a factory
• Electrical bias
• Recognised engineering qualification
• Any PLC knowledge is beneficial
• Willing to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
