Salary : £38,000 - £42,000 depending on skill/experience

06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00 (rotating) early finish Fridays.

Key duties revolve around installation of mechanical and electrical components on machines and offices. Maintenance of machines as well as troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.

Provide prompt response to enquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities.

Installation of fresh mechanical and electrical components and fittings.

Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.

Assist in forecasting requirements.

Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s equipment.

Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.

Perform energy audit and recommend alternative sources of energy.

Help the organisation to reduce energy costs.

Ensure that all mechanical/electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work...
