Overview

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Multi Skilled Security Service & Reactive Engineer. This is a highly rewarding field-based position within a dedicated operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electronic security systems, delivering exceptional service to a wide client base. Candidates should be self-motivated, organised, and capable of contributing positively to the wider operational team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electronic security systems
  • Conduct fault investigations and carry out reactive repairs
  • Provide professional and reliable support to customers at all times
  • Maintain a courteous and professional approach both on the phone and face to face
  • Offer technical assistance and support to clients and team members
  • Be flexible with working hours when required
  • Deliver in-house training and support to other team members when necessary
  • Operate in line with company values and service standards

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience within the electronic security industry
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electronic security systems
  • Systematic and logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to carry out work efficiently and to a high standard
  • Presentable appearance and professional conduct
  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Awareness and responsibility for necessary tools, equipment, and van stock
  • Accurate completion of job records and effective use of PDA systems
  • Polite, confident, and assertive telephone manner
  • Familiarity with London and Home Counties postcode areas
  • Strong customer service skills and a collaborative team mindset
  • Ability to lead by example and support colleagues
