Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. We are looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. As the Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, will be responsible for: * Operate and monitor mechanical and electrical systems. * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM). * Diagnose and respond to system faults and alarms. * Supervise and coordinate with contractors on-site. * Issue and manage work permits and access controls. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS). * Maintain critical infrastructure performance. * Keep accurate maintenance and incident records. * Provide technical support and conduct system assessments. To be successful for this Multi Skilled Shift Engineer role you must have: * Recognised qualification: Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering. * Experience: At least 3 years working in a commercial mechanical and electrical environment. * Security clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a high level of security clearance. * Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of BMS, UPS systems, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits. * Health & Safety: Proven experience working within a high safety culture, including use of risk assessments and method statements. * Driving licence: Must hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.
