Working as part of a highly skilled and well-established engineering team, youll be driven and skilled in finding and rectifying faults through inputs and outputs, reading and acting on data, conducting planned and preventative maintenance and working on a variety of equipment from bulk handling systems, through processing and packaging and site services. The Recipe Our Multi Skilled Engineers work in shift teams in close conjunction with production, safety and hygiene. The team undertake planned and preventative maintenance and are encouraged to use their engineering skills and experience to develop robust solutions and long-term fixes. There's a huge variety of tasks that will range from general plant maintenance to improving plant reliability and diagnosing problems before they develop. The environment is a highly automated 24/7 food manufacturing environment each day bringing a different opportunity; we'll help to develop your technical skills and get you involved in other initiatives alongside our safety teams. The Role

Ensure all engineering activities undertaken are compliant to internal & external standards including Health & Safety legislation, identifying any required actions so that the area of responsibility is healthy, safe and accident free. Responsible for executing fault finding and maintenance through RCM and CBM activities. Driving improvements in asset reliability and reduction in losses. Adheres to site specific machinery procedures to ensure safe and efficient asset maintenance, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational performance. Drive a proactive Engineering Continuous Improvement culture - Contributing to the improvement and development of maintenance activities & standard operating procedures. Compliance with quality and food safety legislation, company standards and specifications in order to meet the requirements of professional and legal standards. Essential Ingredients

Able to work a 4 on 4 off days only shift pattern Engineering Qualification such as Apprenticeship, HNC, BTECH or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of electrical and or mechanical maintenance preferably in a manufacturing environment. Analysing and problem-solving skills, anticipates problems before they occur and takes steps to deal with them/correctly and swiftly identifies the underlying problem and finds appropriate solutions.
