Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Biased) Cambridge Monday-Friday 8am-5pm + 1 in 3 Week Call Out Rota £47,000 + Overtime Our client is a leading food manufacturer that is part of a larger European Group. Due to an up and coming retirement, they are looking for a new multi-skilled maintenance engineer, electrically biased to join their close knit team. Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting PPM's and reactive maintenance across all site production & packaging machinery, site services & facilitiesElectrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving and repairsNew machinery installations, project workPLC - electrical fault findingWorked on conveyors, mixers, baggers, production lines, packaging machinery, elevators, metal detectors, stitchers, labellers, scannersFixing motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, chains, sprockets, control panels, sensors, safety circuits, pumps, blowers, hydraulics Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Ideally be a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biasedMust be comfortable working in a small team, flexible to working a call out rotaHave completed a time-served-apprenticeshipStrong electrical & mechanical fault finding skillsMust have previously have worked in fast-paced manufacturing, ideally food / FMCGPLC - electrical fault findingMechanical fabrication, fitting, and welding skills would be beneficialProjects and continuous improvement experienceMust have worked with pneumatics & hydraulicsIdeally have a varied career, comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces17th or 18th EditionAble to work unsupervised "To apply please email your CV / resume to ( chrisg@hunterselection.co.uk )".
