Multi Skilled Engineer (Joiner) – Facilities ManagementEdinburghWhat you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management Business.Ideally, you will be based in or around the Edinburgh area. You will be required to undertake planned maintenance of plant and associated equipment. Mechanical, electrical & building fabric repairs as directed by the GTFM Management. You will be working as part of a team covering the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.Responsibilities:Monitoring of Planned Preventative Maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance at all timesEnsuring reactive, PPM tasks are completed on timeSupport GTFM Management with additional works for the client, building repairs and lifecycle maintenance.Carry out planned, reactive and additional works in clients’ buildings, including minor works repairs, fault finding and fault diagnosis.Attend any tasks issued for which the post holder has the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake.To liaise with other GTFM staff and Sub-contractors as necessary to ensure the timely completion of works within agreed operational targets.Carry out and complete all works to high quality standards and in a competent manner in accordance with Galliford Try Health and Safety Standards, Clients Policies and Procedures and with the property being left in a clean and tidy condition.To complete accurately all works allocated via a portable electronic device and update all tasks in a timely manner.Working hours will be based Monday to Friday and will include participation in an on-call rota covering one weekend in four.
