Job title: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Salary: £53,500 per annum

Shift pattern: Nights, 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am

Location: Glasgow

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a passion for working in fast-paced food manufacturing environments? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production site in Glasgow, supporting a wide range of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, following planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Carry out fault finding and practical problem-solving to minimise downtime, targeting less than 2% production loss.
• Use the company’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log maintenance activity and materials.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity projects on site.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and across work areas.
• Assist in training production operators in basic asset care practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer, preferably apprentice trained.
• Previous experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Computer literate and comfortable using CMMS systems.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement environments is a plus.
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality maintenance.
