Job Role & Key Responsibilities

Join a fast-paced food manufacturing team as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, focusing on mechanical maintenance to keep production and packaging lines running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain conveyors, packing lines, and production machinery

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults (pumps, gearboxes, bearings, valves)

Perform basic electrical fault-finding and minor repairs

Deliver planned and reactive maintenance efficiently

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled (12°C) environment

Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld under pressure

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Mechanical maintenance experience in FMCG or food production

Hands-on knowledge of pumps, valves, gearboxes, and bearings

Basic electrical skills and fault-finding ability

Calm under pressure with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills

Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent experience

Previous experience working with automated conveyors and picking/packing equipment

Background in fresh food production (a plus, but not essential)
