This is a permanent opportunity working for a well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation in Telford. They are now looking to recruit an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to support all engineering activities and standards across the site. This is a great opportunity for a driven, hands-on engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving factory performance.

As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for…

* Leading health and safety best practices across engineering activities

* Managing and resolving factory breakdowns

* Supporting preventative maintenance and efficiency of all engineering plant

* Providing technical backup to production departments

* Overseeing contractors and ensuring compliance with permits and risk assessments

* Maintaining engineering stores and workshop hygiene

* Working with single and three-phase electrical circuits

* Deputising for the Engineering Manager when required

What we’re looking for someone who has experience in:

* Electrical bias with 18th Edition qualification

* Multi-skilled maintenance engineering in a food production environment (3+ years)

* Holding a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship

* Food Safety Level 3 and IOSH certification

* Automation/PLC and BRC experience desirable

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
