Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias required near Maidstone, Kent. 12 hour shifts - annual hours rota. Excellent salary, benefits and career prospects working for a global leader in recycling and packaging materials.
Reporting into and working particularly closely with the Production Shift Manager to provide a front line maintenance support service for the shift operations team with the prime objective to be keeping the process plant at the designed output and efficiency. The role will undertake electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance responsibilities across the site to provide first class maintenance support to all on site operations. Secondary objectives will be the regular preventative maintenance routines, scheduled maintenance tasks and the repair of non-critical spare parts. Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer requirements: HNC or above in Electrical Engineering (ideally apprentice trained) Electrical, mechanical and instrumentation experience gained from Heavy process engineering industry Continuous improvement ethos Happy to work 12 hour shifts, days and nights Unrestricted eligibility to work in the UK This is a rare opportunity to become a key member of the engineering team working for a company at the forefront of its industry.
