As the appointed SME in High and Low Voltage Systems, perform as the main focal point for all electrical aspects (maintenance and repair) of plant and machinery on-site, ensuring all defects are rectified in a timely manner, keeping management fully aware of progress and challengesHow your day will look:You will supervise the building management system, analysing control and monitoring information, to undertake and deliver facilities electrical engineering maintenance and repairPlanning and managing internal projectsControl and maintain risk assessmentsUndertake PA TestingEnsure all scheduled logbook activities are completedCarryout planned and reactive tasks (electrical and occasionally mechanical)Work a minimum of one maintenance weekend per month up to a maximum of 14 weekends per yearThe qualifications and experience youll bring to help us achieve more:C&G 2365 (levels 2 and 3) Electrical Installations or equivalentC&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)C&G 2377 PAT testing or equivalentAuthorised Person Low Voltage systemsAuthorised Persons High Voltage systems (preferable)Experience in repairs and maintenance of complex commercial electrical and MEP systems.UK Driving LicenceDesirable:MOD Facilities Management experienceAuthorised Person Confined SpaceMicrosoft Word/ExcelI would be great if you have a natural enjoyment of problem solving, getting stuck into a challenge and a curiosity of how components fit into a bigger picture view. Also have a drive to learn, seek out answers on your own as well as utilising team members knowledge around you.
