As a Multi Skilled Engineer, youll work across
electrical and mechanical systems
including PLCs, CNCs, and automation. From
breakdown response and PPMs
to
process optimisation and new equipment commissioning , this role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact. Key Responsibilities
Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime
Deliver PPMs, fault-finding and compliance checks
Support new equipment installations and commissioning
Maintain safety, risk assessments, permits, and audit-ready documentation
Work with production teams to improve processes and boost performance
Provide technical support on PLCs, controls, and electrical systems
What Were Looking For
City & Guilds / BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
18th Edition qualified
Strong knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding (TIG/MMA)
Skilled in fault-finding, compliance, and documentation
IT confident (Excel, Word, PPM systems)
Additional training (IOSH, IPAF, confined spaces, HACCP) desirable
