OverviewThe role of the Maintenance Engineer / Fitter is to provide a range of Engineering Support and Maintenance services across the Burton Manufacturing site. Predominantly the role is for Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Response on process equipment in production and support areas. The aim is to ensure that all equipment is maintained effectively, and all breakdowns / repairs are carried out efficiently and safely.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for planned and reactive maintenance activities at the Burton siteDeliver work within the departmental budgetEnsure maintenance equipment spares are available as requiredDevelop and implement core maintenance processes and proceduresDeliver against site KPIs such as H&S, production TME, CI & 8DEnsure maintenance schedules are completed according to the maintenance planEnsure compliance to all regulatory/legal and corporate standardsContinuously seek to add value, improve efficiency, and reduce wastage through applying lean principles, wherever applicableLiaise with other central MEL functions e.g., central engineering, EHSQCarry out other tasks as deemed necessaryQualificationsMaintenance background (mechanical or electrical, City & Guilds)Competent and experienced in core mech/elect workshop skillsCMMS experience ideally SAP - PM ModuleExperience of contractor control systemsWorking with CI to deliver performance enhancementsBenefits£39,891 to £43,300 salary (Plus 20% shift allowance) + benefitsTraining and ongoing career developmentCycle to work schemeDiscount on Virgin experience daysPension Scheme (Salary Sacrifice) contributions 3/6, 5/10Long Service AwardsStaff discount schemeEAP programme - Mental, Physical, Emotional wellbeingJob security working for an industry leaderCompany discountsEqual OpportunitiesWhoever you are and whatever your background, you\'ll find a fair and supportive workplace.
