FMCG / Food Manufacturing / Fast-Paced Production Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two nights are the same? We're looking for a
proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer
to join our engineering team at a leading FMCG manufacturer. You'll play a critical role in keeping our production lines running smoothly by carrying out planned maintenance and reacting swiftly to breakdowns. If you thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy solving problems under pressure, this could be the opportunity for you. What you'll be doing: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of production and packaging machinery. Responding to and resolving electrical and mechanical breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime. Supporting continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis. Working with a variety of equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, sensors, and control panels. Completing all work to the highest standards in line with health and safety regulations. Recording all maintenance activity using CMMS systems. What we're looking for: Time-served Maintenance Engineer or qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Proven experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced production environment. Strong fault-finding skills with a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and manage reactive maintenance priorities. Flexible and committed approach to night shifts and 4 on 4 off pattern.
