Location: Macclesfield Salary: £55,000 + Bonuses + Benefits Shifts: Rotating Days/Nights (No Weekends)
We’re supporting a leading manufacturer of specialist industrial FMCG products in their search for a talented Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established and innovative business that continues to invest in its people, technology, and site infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on maintenance support to production lines and coating machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
* Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults across mechanical and electrical systems.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to drive continuous improvement and implement long-term engineering solutions.
* Participate in ongoing improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and performance optimisation activities.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing or processing environment.
* Ideally, electrical bias.
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills (ideally time-served or qualified to HNC/HND or equivalent).
* Experience with PLC fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems would be highly advantageous.
