Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Shift-Based Role
This role involves working a shift-based schedule on a 4-week cycle, including 12-hour shifts (2 days and 2 nights rotation). Shifts run from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be an essential part of the operations team, responsible for delivering effective and efficient maintenance to keep our manufacturing facility operational 24/7. Key tasks include:
Performing routine maintenance to ensure plant critical systems and equipment function optimally.
Enhancing equipment performance and reliability through proactive maintenance and repair.
Conducting first-line fault finding and diagnostics.
Supporting Operations Improvement and Transformation projects.
Working on a variety of manufacturing and utility systems to maintain high-quality standards for automotive products.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Proven experience in practical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Completion of an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3 or National Certificate in an Electrical/Instrumentation discipline.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
