Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Role We are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing engineering team within a high-volume manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting a range of production machinery, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring safe and reliable operations across a 24/6 site.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to required standards.

Monitor machine performance, identify potential failures, and take corrective action.

*

Diagnose and resolve faults, ensuring minimal downtime.

*

Use manuals and failure history to develop new preventative tasks and train colleagues.

*

Conduct risk assessments and ensure equipment is returned in safe working order.

*

Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong safety culture.

About You:

*

Multi-skilled maintenance background (electrical and/or mechanical).

*

Qualified in Engineering or apprenticeship-trained.

*

Flexible to work rotating days and nights.

*

Strong fault-finding ability and able to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

*

Experience with inverters, servo/DC drives, and circuits (415V to 24VDC).
