Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 + Overtime + Additional Benefits Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) Location: Kent (Commutable from Dover, Sandwich, Margate, Canterbury Ramsgate, Faversham)
About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our skilled engineering team. Working on a variety of food processing and packaging machinery, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. From planned and predictive maintenance to problem-solving breakdowns, you'll help ensure our high-quality products reach customers on time, every time.
Your Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and predictive maintenance on processing and packaging assets * Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive repairs * Diagnose and fix faults across electrical, mechanical, automation, instrumentation, and pneumatic systems * Support machinery changeovers and set-ups * Manufacture or repair component parts as required * Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation projects
What we are looking for? * Recognised engineering apprenticeship (C&G / EAL NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent) * Electrical bias with solid fault-finding skills (Desired) * Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures * Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical documentation * Mechanical principles (welding, machi...
