What you'll be doing
TPM, Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on a wide array of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical machinery and equipment
Self-manage your individual workload, through effective time management & task prioritization
Root-cause analysis to minimize reoccurrence of faults and failures
Ensuring a rigorous adherence to Health & Safety practices and protocols
Maintain accurate and timely records of all work undertaken to support departmental auditing
Ad-hoc basic site maintenance (e.g. supporting machinery and equipment installations)
Contribute to the collective knowledge & development of maintenance engineering teamWhat you'll need
A minimum of 5 years' experience of maintenance engineering (either bias), preferably in a heavy industrial or similar background
A relevant industry-recognized engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds)
Excellent knowledge & experience of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Conversant with current electrical wiring regulations (e.g. 17th or 18th Edition)
Experience of Control systems & PLC fault-finding
Able to read and apply technical drawings and electrical schematics
Experience of power presses, operating MEWP, overhead cranes and forklift trucks (desirable)
Sound understanding of Health and Safety practices & Quality Management
