Electrical Shift Engineer

Kettering

Commutable from Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Market Harborough

Salary: £60,000-£65,000

Working hours: Monday - Friday (hybrid options available)

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer. Due to an upcoming retirement, they are looking to hire an electrically biased engineer to work alongside a mechanically biased engineer on shift. The role offers training, development opportunities, and extended time off.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive maintenance on production machinery promptly
• Complete machine PPM schedules to minimize downtime
• Perform electrical and some mechanical fault finding
• Record work on the software system
• Assist with project work during factory shutdowns

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience as an electrical engineer in an FMCG environment
• Electrical qualification such as NVQ level 3, HNC, or HND
• A strong team player eager to learn and develop
