Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. \n\nOrion is partnered with a fast-paced manufacturing company located in Coventry. We are recruiting a methodical and experienced Mechanically Biased Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be Mechanically biased as 80% of the issues on site are of a mechanical nature. We are looking for someone driven and ambitious to help drive the company towards manufacturing excellence.\n\nMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts:3x Week shift rotation:\n\nWeek 1 7am – 3pm\nWeek 2 3pm – 11pm\nWeek 3 11 – 7amMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:\n\nReactive maintenance of manufacturing machinery – boilers, steam pumps, conveyors, extractors etc..\nMechanical maintenance 80% electrical maintenance 20%\nPPM’s\nLine improvement tasks\nFault finding using PLC’s\nCan read and work from electrical & mechanical schematics\nThe provision and implementation of solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime\nUse of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance.\nContinually drive towards a PPM culture\nTo assist in setting of machines in conjunction with the operations team\nThe provision of a first-class engineering serviceMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineer Required Experience :\n\nMechanical qualifications from a recognised body\nNVQ level 3 or BTEC L3 or equivalent\nElectrical fault-finding skills\nPLC experience\nMachinery maintenance (PPM’s and reactive)\nBoth mechanical & electrical machinery maintenance\nFMCG background\nContinuous improvement projectsMulti Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:\n\nCompetitive Salary up to £45,000\nFree car parking\nPension contribution\nProgression opportunitiesIf you like the look of this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role, then click and apply or if you would like further information, please contact Katie Maisey at Orion Electrotech Aylesbury.
