We are hiring a Business Systems Engineer with NetSuite experience, who strives for engineering quality and process efficiency, seeks improvements, continuously develops skills, and applies them at work. This is an opportunity to work with several popular business systems and deliver a first-class experience to Canonical business operations.The Commercial Systems unit has several areas of responsibility across five engineering teams, collaborating with other engineering and business teams at Canonical. The Business Systems team is responsible for systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and others. The engineers work closely with operations teams, implement business processes, and keep the systems compliant. This team suits someone with a genuine interest in understanding the business, high engineering standards, and a drive to deliver a great experience to Canonical employees using these systems to do their jobs.Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. Responsibilities
Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews Learn Canonical business processes Depending on your seniority, coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
What we are looking for in you
Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long
Nice-to-have skills
Performance engineering and security experience Experience with accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles
