Network Engineer

Location: Sheffiled Salary £40-45k Hybrid Working

Our client based in Sheffield is looking for a skilledNetwork Engineerto help shape and support their global IT infrastructure. Youll work on high-impact projects, deploy advanced security solutions, and provide Tier 2/3 operational support, keeping systems secure, efficient, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities Provide Tier 2/3 support for network issues, ensuring incidents are resolved within SLAs. Design, configure and optimise Cisco-focused infrastructure and cloud environments. Support Fortinet security and SD-WAN solutions, plus Zscaler deployments. Monitor and report on network/cloud performance, making proactive improvements. Document changes, ensuring compliance with standards and policies. Collaborate on infrastructure projects and standardisation initiatives.

About You Cisco certified (CCNA minimum). Proven experience in network engineering within a multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet technologies (essential). Experience with Zscaler, Azure and monitoring tools (desirable). Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Full UK Driving Licence required.
