What you’ll be doing
- Ensure timely updates of the Configuration Management Database
- Carry out stock checks as required (data driven)
- Ensure ‘Just In Time’ (JIT) approach towards materials and stock management ensuring the business unit only holds equipment which is required and for no longer than needed
- Prompt and professional contact response (calls / e-mails / IM / hard copy)
- Resolving ‘in-life’ issues (faults & service affecting escalations) at 1st point of contact
- Managing customer events to meet the agreed resolution date
- Delivering Right First-Time solutions
- Supporting, at all times, Company policy and best practice in the area of safety & security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
- Being up to date, understanding & correctly using processes, systems & information sources
- Flagging barriers that get in the way of doing a great job to Line Managers & Leaders
- Maximising own attendance & delivery against scheduled tasks
- Ensure daily monitoring of group mailbox
Skills we require
- Able to multitask with an attention to detail
- Ensure that a safe working environment is always maintained
- Able to form relationships with all stakeholders and manage people’s expectations
- Good logical skills with the ability to find solutions to both physical and technical constraints – ensuring items are stored, recorded and collated in a logical manner
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite; ability to learn new software systems with a positive can‑do attitude

What we’d like to see on your CV
- Experience of working in a logistics environment
- Experience of maintaining a configuration management data
- Experience in working with mechanical aids
- Ability to work with and manage a number of high-profile stakeholders
- Management of BT security policy, assurance and compliance
- High level of technical expertise on all technologies across all platforms
- Delivery of complex technical solutions
