Overview Niche Central London consultancy requires an Associate or Associate Director Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join the expanding design studio to run its well-established civils team. Responsibilities
Lead and run the civils/bridges-infrastructure design team within the studio, delivering high-quality civil infrastructure projects. Provide design, technical, and project management leadership across schemes, ensuring deliverables meet client and statutory requirements. Manage workloads, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff to support career development. Contribute to winning work and maintaining the studio’s track record on challenging London-based projects.
Qualifications and Experience
Chartered member of the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers). Educated to MEng/MSc level in Civil or Environmental Engineering (minimum 2:1). Good design, project, and team-running experience in UK consultancy, with experience on roads and drainage schemes. Dynamic and ambitious, seeking to work for a high-profile commercial business with scope for career progression to Director-level in the medium term.
Project Focus Current workload is a mixture of new-build and refurbishments across London in commercial, residential, retail, leisure, and the arts with project values up to £75 million. Many previous projects have been shortlisted and/or won RIBA and IStructE awards.
