Overview Job Title: Night Shift Electrical Engineer – 4 on 4 off Location: Chiswick, London Salary: £61,000 per year Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights Only) Responsibilities
Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency at all times Provide first-line support for key M&E plant, including pumps, motors, drives, AHUs, LV switchgear, PLCs, and SCADA systems Monitor and optimise building systems during night operations, driving performance and energy efficiency Manage helpdesk requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates Uphold health and safety standards across all tasks and escalate issues when required Work collaboratively with the wider shift team to maintain smooth site operations overnight
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test and Inspection) Experience with high voltage systems (AP status or HV awareness advantageous) Strong understanding of statutory regulations and maintenance industry standards Previous experience within a technical/critical environment working shifts IOSH Working Safely or similar health & safety training (preferred)
