• You’ll respond proactively to alarms, minimizing service outages.
• You’ll perform necessary actions promptly to restore service during degradation or outages.
• You’ll escalate incidents as per procedures and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• You’ll conduct regular checks on systems and services to ensure reliability.
• You’ll monitor distress traffic and act immediately if needed.
• You’ll identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• You’ll contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting ideas and creating efficient operational and technical processes.
• You’ll support, coach, and train other engineers and teams.
• Good understanding of satellite communication networks, systems, and propagation.
• Knowledge of VSAT, Ka-band, L Band, and C bands.
• Familiarity with digital communication networks, protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing), and architecture (routers, switches, firewalls).
