We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients located in Mildenhall who are looking to add an NPI Engineer to the team on a full-time basis.

Typical duties include:

• Assist with the design and development of existing and new tools.
• Oversee reviews with a view to improving and design and manufacturing processes.
• Carry out CMM measurements and prepare PPAP documentation when required.
• Work closely with the operations team for on CI projects.
• Perform visual inspections of samples for customer ISIR submissions.
• Lease with customers on any manufacturing or design queries.
• Support with prototype testing through to approval.
• Assist with maintenance when required.

You will have:

• 3+ years experience within manufacturing / fabrication.
• Experienced working from detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience with 3D CAD and Solidworks.
• Practical experience with use of PFMEA/DFMEA/Control plans & risk management techniques.
• Excellent communicational and organisations skills.
• Experience with project based work with APQP/PPAP requirements.
