JOB TITLE: New Product Introduction Manager / NPI Manager

The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working, predominantly, within the "Yellow Construction Industry" - diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, etc.

The ROLE
The right NPI Engineer would play a key role in supporting continued growth, being responsible for the development and introduction of new products - will ensuring PPAP approved parts are produced to customer specifications.
The minutia of the role includes;

* Feasibility reviews to identify possible improvements and agree best manufacture methods
* Design and develop tooling
* CMM measurement
* PPAP documentation
* Full visual inspection of samples, including weld and paint approval
* Supporting customers with any product related manufacturing design queries
* Help the development, measurement and approval of prototypes

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic NPI Engineer possessing the ambition to forge a career within a successful expanding engineering company. You will possess the following skills;

* Engineering and fabrication background
* Ability to read detailed engineering drawings
* Computer literate (Microsoft office suites)
* Experience operating CMM measuring device
* CAD skills would be useful
* Ideally experience working on projects with APQP/PPAP
