Role Description We are seeking a full-time New Product Introduction Engineer to join our team in Mildenhall. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development and launch of new products, from receipt of orders through to project handover. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead new product introduction projects from concept through to production handover.
* Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring customer requirements are met.
* Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including PPAPs.
* Utilise CAD systems to support design and engineering activities.
* Identify and resolve potential issues with proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver on deadlines.
* Proficiency in CAD software.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Experience in developing PPAPs to customer requirements
