The Service Engineering department provides expertise in Cyber Security, Cloud applications, Operational Technology, Protection, SCADA, Network Infrastructure, Condition Monitoring, and 24/7 customer support.
The role involves troubleshooting, supporting service agreements, and implementing improvements at existing sites. Candidates will develop skills through coaching and hands-on experience, becoming effective members of the Technical Support team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Deliver and maintain IT infrastructure solutions for HVDC, FACTS, and Wind Farm projects.
- Administer operating systems (Windows, Linux), including installation, configuration, and system monitoring.
- Manage computer systems and virtual environments (Hyper-V & VMware), performing routine troubleshooting.
- Support SCADA/server build and configuration for customers and colleagues.
- Implement Cyber Security concepts based on international standards for control and protection systems.
- Conduct training on SCADA system administration for internal and external stakeholders.
