Our Automotive client based in Coventry is seeking a new Optical Quality / Perceived Quality Engineer on a contract basis (Inside IR35) Hybrid working, 3 days on site 2 remote Join the team and play a key role in defining and delivering exceptional visual and tactile quality across both

Exterior

and

Interior

vehicle systems. ??

Main Responsibilities: Generate and maintain the

Perceived Quality (PQ) Register

and PQ attributes within the Program Issues Register Support the Lead Engineer in guiding design and engineering teams to achieve PQ targets Participate in

digital reviews

and

sign-off events

for OQ/PQ-related activities Provide

technical support

to cross-functional teams Assist with

competitor benchmarking

and reporting of findings Support

Optical and Perceived Quality development

and assessment activities Contribute to building a

PQ Benchmarking Database Interpret

CAD drawings and sectional data

(CAD operation not essential) Utilise

Teamcenter (TCUA)

for PLM data management Plan and coordinate

OQ Reviews

for Exterior and Interior systems Support the

Lead PQ Integration Engineer

during complete vehicle reviews and benchmarking exercises
