Overview

Based in London two positions exist for Optoelectronics Photonic Systems Designers to join an exciting new start up. This position is Hybrid and will focus on the development of disruptive technologies for HPC, AI / ML Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Optical Network system design, implementation and testing.
• Building of optical testbeds.
• Modelling and characterisation of optical components.
• Assessing Optical Transmission network performance for short reach AI Networked Systems.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree from a high calibre University, in either Physics, Electronics or related, along with extensive hands on experience in optical communication development.
• Experience of working with speeds of up to 100Gpbs either testing or Design.
• Test automation using Python.
• For the more junior role a PhD candidate or researcher can be considered. For the more Senior, extensive experience of all of the above is required.
