The Civil Large Engines Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Technical Variance Flowline (CLE MRO TV Flowline) addresses all the TVs raised by the MRO bases servicing Civil Large Engines worldwide. A Technical Variance authorizes deviations from Rolls-Royce Technical Publications. This role supports the maintenance and overhaul of gas turbine engines throughout their lifecycle, offering a unique opportunity to understand engine behavior and MRO network operations globally. The position requires knowledge of MRO tools and processes, and the ability to coordinate across various engineering functions. Candidates may also acquire the necessary Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) delegation.

Responsibilities:

• Approve MRO Technical Variances as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
• Develop and maintain engine overhaul processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Define technical requirements for component repairs and ensure network compliance.
• Ensure technical data meets regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate between Manufacturing Engineering, MRO Bases, and other stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Ensure technical solutions meet all requirements, including returning components to serviceable condition.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge of engine components and systems, including form, fit, and function.
• Understanding of manufacturing engineering and special processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply manufacturing principles.
• Experience in planning and managing multiple projects with deadlines.
