The successful candidate will work with advanced modelling tools to evaluate engine behaviour across the full operating envelope, including SCO3 cycle applications, and contribute technical insight to support design, integration, and testing programmes.Key Responsibilities:Develop, validate, and maintain Gas Turbine performance models, with a focus on steady state and transient behaviour.Apply thermodynamic principles such as the Brayton cycle to performance studies.Conduct simulations and cycle analysis for SCO3 applications.Work with modelling environments such as NPSS or equivalent (GasTurb, PROOSIS, RR toolsets).Post-process data and create automation tools using Python.Use object-oriented programming (C++ preferred) to enhance and customise modelling workflows.Present and communicate complex technical results to internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsExperience, skills and qualifications required:Strong experience in Gas Turbine performance engineering, including steady state and transient analysis.Understanding of SCO3 cycles and their application in propulsion and energy systems.Proficiency in performance toolsets such as NPSS, or transferable experience with GasTurb, PROOSIS, RR performance tools.Programming skills in C++ and Python.Strong technical communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Additional InformationWhy join us?We foster a community of dually talented individuals who are both entrepreneurs and technology specialists.
