We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedProfessional Engineering Services Engineer here at Frontline specialising inAccess Control and CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning, and support of integrated security solutions for commercial, industrial, and government clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

• Base Salary upto £55K dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy Access Control and CCTV systems using industry-leading platforms (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, LenelS2, Avigilon, Axis, etc.).
• Perform site surveys, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to determine optimal system design and placement.
• Install, commission, and maintain security systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for installed systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including system schematics, configuration files, and user manuals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Train end-users and internal teams on system operation and maintenance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in physical security and video surveillance.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Access Control and CCTV system engineering.
• Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Genetec Certified, Milestone Certified, CCNA, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, PoE, VLANs, and system integration.
• Familiarity with structured cabling, power systems, and control panels.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with biometric access systems, intercoms, and alarm integration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles related to physical security systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., airports, data centers, government facilities).
