Position Responsibilities
Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Level 2: 2+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or with a Master's Level 3: 5+ years with a Bachelor's or 3+ years with a Master's or 3+ years with a PhD Level 4: 9+ years with a Bachelor's or 7+ years with a Master's or 4+ years with a PhD Experience with Finite Element Modeling (FEM) tools (NASTRAN, PATRAN) Experience with aerospace stress analysis and/or structural analysis
