OverviewPlanned Preventative Maintenance Engineer Mate – Fire Systems – Pirin Court – Nights – Sun to Thurs 10pm to 6amReporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of Fire Systems assets mainly in the Trackside environment. You will work nights (Sun to Thurs 10pm to 6am) as part of a team and also work independently on tasks. A full driver’s license is required due to travel between stations. You will work safely and adhere to site procedures. Responsibilities
Complete preventative maintenance tasks on a daily basis for fire systems within Rail. Assist the delivery of daily tasks in line with business expectations. Work as part of a team and individually depending on task. Maintain Health and Safety awareness and practice. Provide regular progress reports to the site person in charge. Utilise the ServiceNow platform to assist in completing visit reports. Provide accurate site reports on completed activities to the site SPC or line manager. Complete maintenance against the defined schedule and ensure work is completed to the required standard. Report any issues and complete administration tasks in a timely manner. Comply with relevant QEHS requirements and the Drug & Alcohol policy.
Qualifications / Skills
Knowledge of required system maintenance procedures relating to Fire Systems within Rail. Previous working knowledge of appropriate Fire Systems. Previous experience working within the LUL or Rail environment. Must have a driving licence. Willingness to participate in a drug and alcohol test as you will be working trackside.
