Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer - Fire Systems - Pirin Court - Nights - Sun to Thurs 10pm to 6am

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of Fire Systems assets, mainly in the Trackside environment. You will be working nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am. You will work as part of a team and also complete tasks individually.

You must always work safely. There will be significant travel between stations, so a full driver's license is essential.

Key Deliverables

• Completing preventative maintenance tasks daily on fire systems within Rail
• Assisting in the delivery of daily tasks in line with business expectations
• Working as part of a team and independently depending on the task
• Maintaining health and safety awareness and practice
• Reporting progress regularly to the site person in charge
• Utilising our ServiceNow platform to complete visit reports

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate site reports on completed activities to the site SPC or line manager
• Completing maintenance as per the defined schedule
• Ensuring maintenance is completed to required standards and reporting issues
• Completing administration tasks promptly
• Complying with QEHS requirements
• Following the Drug & Alcohol policy

Qualifications / Skills Requirements

• Knowledge of system maintenance procedures related to Fire Systems in Rail
• Previous experience with Fire Systems
• Experience working within the LUL or Rail environment
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing, as required for trackside work
