Nationwide Air Conditioning are a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. We offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.


Our client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Land Securities, JD Sports, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, & more.


HVAC Engineer Salary & Benefits


  • 4 nights a week (Monday to Thursday) with competitive 5 day week pro rata salary
  • Up to £40,000 per annum (£50,000 pro-rata) dependant on experience 
  • Working Hours – Approximately 6:30pm to 3am - 4 nights a week
  • No call out rota whilst on night work (although may need to attend call outs whilst working)
  • Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly rate

  • 30 holidays including bank holidays (FTE) which will increase at 5 & 10 years’ service

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, Chilled Fan Coil Units, AHUs & Cold Rooms

Key Responsibilities


Fan Coil Unit (FCU) Maintenance

  •  Locate and access FCUs across the site.
  • Remove, inspect, and clean FCU filters.
  • Conduct general inspections of FCUs to identify wear, damage, or inefficiencies.
  • Repairs and Remedial works as required

 

BMS Operation

  •  Switch Building Management System (BMS) modes between heating and cooling as required.

 

Temperature Monitoring

  •  Record and monitor air-off temperatures to ensure system performance.

  

System & Documentation Management 

  • Add and update asset information on SolarVista (SV)
  • Accurately complete maintenance sheets within SV
  • Log and update defect reports in SV
  • Complete Job Completion Reports (JCRs) and ensure timely job closure

 

HVAC Engineer Job Requirements

  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
