M&E Planning Engineer – Infrastructure Projects (Midlands & North)

This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary joint venture delivering Mechanical & Electrical packages on one of the UK’s most high-profile Rail project s , while supporting a wider portfolio of Infrastructure works across the Midlands and North.

The Role As a Mechanical & Electrical Planning Engineer you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery, commercial viability, and resource optimisation of projects. You’ll be responsible for:

Preparing cost- and resource-loaded programmes covering full project scope. Creating and maintaining robust, logically linked project schedules in P6. Providing regular programme updates, reports, and client-facing reviews. Monitoring progress with lookahead plans, site diaries, and regular site visits. Conducting forensic planning, delay analysis, and EOT programmes. Supporting tenders and commercial submissions with high-quality programme input. Driving planning standards, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.
