Overview

You’ll be responsible for developing and managing detailed P6 construction schedules for tunneling works, from early-stage planning through to delivery. This includes:

  • Building and maintaining Primavera P6 plans that reflect tunneling sequences, constraints, and risk events.
  • Creating fragnets to model actual vs. planned progress, especially in complex underground environments.
  • Reviewing subcontractor programmes to ensure alignment with project milestones and tunneling methodologies.
  • Collaborating with engineering, delivery, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and realistic planning.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience creating and managing schedules in Primavera P6, ideally for tunneling.
  • Strong understanding of tunneling techniques, sequencing, and associated risks.
  • Background in one or more of the following sectors: tunneling, civil engineering, rail, utilities, or infrastructure.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills to identify programme risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

This is a contract role outside IR35, offering flexibility to work from home 4 days a week with a 1 day site visit in Cumbria.
