Impact Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected leader in plant and surfacing equipment maintenance based in Northampton. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Plant Engineer to join their high-performing maintenance team, working both in the workshop and out on-site with a variety of heavy machinery including planers, pavers, rollers, and small tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of construction plant machinery. Perform planned maintenance and inspections in accordance with safety and manufacturer guidelines. Respond to on-site breakdowns, delivering efficient and professional repairs. Maintain accurate records of service history, job sheets, and parts used. Follow all health & safety regulations and ensure work areas remain clean and compliant. Communicate clearly with clients and team members to provide updates and ensure service quality.
Candidate Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (Level 2 considered for time-served engineers). Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical fault-finding skills. Full UK driving licence is essential (HGV licence a bonus). Experience working with equipment suc...
